About

I am Sr. Chris (Sr. Christine Kresho). I entered the Sisters of St. Joseph, Baden, PA in 1958. My ministries have been in elementary education, computer education, marketing, and parish work.

My life as a Sister and my service to the church have both challenged and encouraged my spiritual journey. Consequently, my particular focus is on the influence of our personal image of God. Therefore, I love to discuss, question, think about and listen to who God is for each of us. What happens if we believe that God is in love with us? What changes because our Creator pursues us, invites us to grow in faith and loves us unconditionally?

I am a speaker and an author. In addition to five published novels, my latest non-fiction book is, Second Childhood: Aging into Divine Relationship. You may also be interested in Stations of the Cross for Today’s Disciples, appropriate for group reflection as well as individual meditation.

Speaking engagements, days of recollection and retreats are energizing times of sharing God’s embrace and invitation to grow. Contact me for ways I can serve you.

  • Sr Christine, I read your thoughtful article on the worthy reception of Holy Communion, this afternoon in GSR. Ir rang so many bells for me not least of which was your reflection on the Act of Spiritual Communion. I cannot, never could, come to an accommodation with the words of this prayer. I listen attentively at every Mass I attend for something new and meaningful. I do frequently hear some priests doing lovely versions from their own hearts and their own wisdom. Perhaps you should consider writing a version. Thank you for your lovely reflections and those of your writings which I have read. Let us continue to pray and live through the restrictions the present situation imposes on us.
Easter blessings on you and yours.
